As stated above, a good, clean and affordable apartment close to all the places we had to go. Transport right out the front. We will certainly tell all our friends, a home away from home. Staff very helpful and friendly !

Melbourne is a city to visit but its crowded streets rather turned us off. We've been there quite often, mostly to see shows and friends. But I've worked there many years ago and find it much changed. The place still has a certain charm that other cities lack. Hated the casino but loved the live shows, the old pubs and the " Day in Pompeii " at the museum. An all too short stay!!!!

Easystay Serviced Apartments, 5 Acland St, st kilda. Reviewed: August 2009. #2468

We stayed at 5 acland street. When we arrived at the property room 303 it had the most horrible smell that you could not stay in it at all especially with children. Also the blinds would not close properly. My husband went back up to the office and the gentleman said it had some bad guest in it the nite before but was not aware of the problem. He said the cleaner should of told him. Moved to room 305 only to find a double bed in it.

We had to move a fold out lounge ourselves and then could not move around the room with out climbing over all the beds. We paid for a family apartment but ended up in a double room. At least this room was clean. Went to park the car in the carpark where he said then found we needed a code to get in the gate. Which no told us about. Had to ring the office and get the code. Was not happy at all.

This hotel was close to Etihad Stadium and Southern Cross station.

We stayed in an Executive Studio and it was quite modern with good use of a small area.

Melbourne is such an easy city to explore whether it be by walking, riding a tram or catching a cab. So many food choices and the shopping is fun with all the lanes and tucked away places.

Being close to the Southern cross station and tramlines was very handy. Room was very clean. Parking very convenient and cost competitive. Service vert polite and friendly.

Brickwall for a view on 5th floor.

There wasn't any hotel information in my room about meals, facilities etc.

Would have been handy to to have infomation explaining public transport around Melbourne and a few key time tables.

This hotel let me down by not having the room available that we booked

Look, rooms were great had no issues with that. As a family we booked a two bedroom apartment, however, on check in we were advised that the room was not available and that we would in fact be in separate rooms. Since we never really do this sort of thing, it was a huge let down and was a bad start to our celebration night. The staff that we encountered were not very helpful and there was no compensation for the stuff up!
