We loved staying here

As a family it was a great central place to stay. Very spacious and central to everything in Melbourne. Our only concern was the amount of outside noise which on occasion interupted our sleeping. We will certainly return there when we next visit Melbourne. Thanks.

The city has many shopping options both department stores and arcades. The Melbourne Zoo was a great day out and also Vic Rail had a great weekend family option for a day at Sovereign Hill. We would certainly recommend Wicked and if you visit in April the Comedy Festival.

Review of room 419

Room good value for money but a bit tired. The small window made the room feel too enclosed. Lack of water pressure meant that the hot/cold mix was never ok - froze or burnt. The sink in the bathroom leaked underneath and one of the chairs arm was broken. Gave me the impression of a hotel which is about to be torn down and rebuilt or renovated soon because there appeared to be no maintenance done in room 419.

However, a great TV in the room and facilities such as kettle, iron & board, hair dryer all worked ok. Staff were all friendly and pleasant and our room was attended each day to our satisfaction. Very central, walking to many attractions. Lots of food places close at hand. The shower was the one thing that will cause me to go elsewhere next time.

Taxi drivers were all polite, friendly, helpful, well dressed and their taxis were immaculate. Happy to take you on a short ride as they are to take you on a long ride. Bus shuttle and city tram were great. Busy city after dark, people everywhere. Melbourne shopping not that good, all souveniers and tshirts. Obviously the shopping I wanted was in the suburbs. We had a good stay.

This Hotel was a fantastic place to stay

The property was well set up. It was comfortable to be in. It accommodated all sorts of people it had things for kids to do it had things for young people and old people and it had the best food ever tasted. It was a memoriable weekend. We really enjoyed having our first anniversary at the langham.

We were born and bred in Melbourne so we loved the city. With so much to do and see it is hard to decide where to begin. We went to the Eureka Sky tower which is amazing at night to see the city lights. There is heaps of bars to have a drink. Or lots of theatres and cinemas around to see a movie it is a happening place and one that never gets tired off. Explore Melbourne you will love it.

Comfortable, clean and friendly

This hotel was the perfect place to stay for the night. The studio room allowed us to share with our daughter and not leave her alone in a separate room. And the bonus - no extra charge for a child! In the heart of the city the Sebel has easy access to transport and shopping!! Loved it.

One day was not long enough for us to take advantage and explore Melbourne.

Good hotel in the heart of Melbourne

Good, decent accommodation. A bit pricey as it could do with a bit of maintenance. Parking a bit dodgy as I had to navigate through ultra thin road strip and my car was in danger of being damaged in the process.

A little difficult to find. The room was adequate and spacious enough without being opulent. The bathroom/toilet a bit cramped.

We stayed here on our way through to Belgrave. Would recommend the "Puffing Billy" train trip to anyone.

This hotel had good customer service and was close to everything.

However, I was not very impressed with the size of the room. The carpet was very old and needed replacing and the treadmill in the gym was pretty terrible to work out on. It costed 0 for a three night stay over, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. I think this was over priced. I live on the Gold Coast and stay in Surfers Paradise frequently and pay only about 0 to stay in a fully furnished unit with a fully equiped kitchen and large living spaces, great views, mind you this is only a two night stay.

However, this is much more comfortable living. I was a tad annoyed with how there was someone knocking on my door every morning asking if I had used anything from the mini bar. In all my hotel experiences, this question has always been asked at the end of the stay when checking out. Overall I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10. Customer service was good and the house keeping was great. I probably would stay again if it was a bit cheaper.

There were alot of great restaurants near by. The food was spectacular. The only place I was very dissapointed with was Pepperoni's. The pizza was terrible. The Aquarium was totally awesome! I loved the penguins! The shopping was fantatstic! Harbour Town was great! Transport was very good. The musical "Wicked" that I went to see was absolutely phenomenal!! a definate must see! There are so many great bars as well.

So many things to do! I would rate this part 10 out of 10.

Clean & friendly hotel

Friendly staff from reception onwards. Room was compact but clean and tidy. Breakfast was more than adequate. Only "minus" was that our room faced on to King Street and there was a lot of traffic noise. Perhaps triple glazing of windows would cure this. We would stop there again if needs be.

Lots to do in Melbourne. My wife and I came down from Queensland specifically to attend the Quilting Exhibition. Have been to Melbourne many times before and enjoy all the facilities that are available especially some of the smaller bistro type restaraunts.
