We had everything we needed in the apartment.
There are lots of bus trips around the city & surrounding areas. We went & seen a couple of live shows, this ais a must in Melbourne.

Everything produced noises there, busy road, fridge, air-cond. And even the tap. Because of 24h-booking-cancelation, I had to stay a secound night, altough I said I was unsatisfied.

The property was okay and room basic but we found the traffic very noisy. The staff were very pleasant and the cafe attached to the accommodation was first class, would recommend the food to everyone. We did stay on the ground floor and this was very noisy with people slamming doors etc after midnight d. We did ask to be moved to a higher floor which the staff did with no hesitation. We were told that no staff were on duty after 9pm so couldn't keep an eye on people coming and going.
Melbourne is a beautiful large city with plenty to see and do. Tram stops are everywhere and there was one about a 5 minute walk from the hotel which made it a little easier to get into the city, otherwise it would have been a long walk.

Room noisy. As it is a heritage building it only had a ceiling fan and you had to open window for fresh air which contributed to the noise. Otherwise very clean and comfortable.
Well located to trains, free explorer bus and city circle tram. Close to all shops, restaraunts, and entertainment.

Boutique St Marine misleads in its advertising. It boasts spacious rooms and private bathrooms; we had a pokey room and a shared bathroom. It advertises views of the sea or garden: for us it was a narrow, unlockable window with an uninspiring outlook onto a sidestreet. There is no lounge, outdoor area or other seating other than your room, where you must partake of the same cereal / toast breakfast each day.
St. Kilda is a vibrant seaside suburb with a wonderful selection of eateries, clothes shops and bars. We enjoyed walking along the esplanade, visiting the Community Garden, shopping at the Sunday markets and taking an easy tramride into the city.

The corner of Spencer and Collins Street. Very clean and tidy accomodation. Although the room faced onto Spencer Street the room was very quiet with hardly any traffic noise to be heard. Ideally situated for Melbourne City sightseeing and shopping. Free City Circle tram just one block away. Opposite Spencer Street Station and DFO shops, just around the corner on .
Staff friendly and very helpful but not intrusive.
Dinner in the Vault restaurant was excellent and so was the suggested wine
Will stay again and hope Night Owl menu's toasted sandwich will be toasted this time
Melbourne very tourist friendly love the free City Circle Tram. Great for shopping, Direct factory outlets.
Krispy Kremes doughnut outlet less than 1 minute walk from the hotel along Collins St -yummy.
Must see Wicked the musical at the Regent Theatre, Observation deck at the Rialto building.
Enjoyed a walk through Fitzroy Gardens
Only there for 2 nights and one day must go back want to see the Aquarium and Arctic Penguin display

Neat, tidy and spacious rooms. 1970's feel to motel. Only offer breakfast on-site. Have a microwave but only provide cups, saucers and spoons. Situated on the main street with eateries, Post Office either side and across the 4 lane road are supermarkets, specialty shops, low-price retail outlets. 35 minutes from Melboure City and the airport. Hosts are welcoming.
There is a nature reserve with play equipment for the children and cycling/walking tracks around the park and water. About 15-20 minutes out of town heading toward Keilor is a winery. Any consummables you require are within walking distance and there are stores like Aldi and Rivers.

Located on main road, yet room was reasonably quiet. Ensuite shower and floor tiles were clean. Microwave was a bonus. Plates and cutlery were available on request at reception. Everything was clean and worked fine. Good value for money.

Was very neat and tidy, nice bathroom. Staff were helpful, allowed us to check in a couple of hours early Minimal parking is available underneath the hotel at per night Very close to Casino and central melbourne.

Eastern Town House
The 3 of us stayed in a One-Bedroom Apartment complete with kitchenette and all its utensils cum ironing facilities. The laundry is just on the ground floor and easy to operate and at a reasonable price too.
The reception staff are very friendly and they will inform you in detail what to expect in town. There a lot of brochures available along the hall for you to choose & browse.
We cooked most of the time, especially for breakfast and dinner, & the IGA shop is just 3 miniutes away should you need anything, including the tram ticket.
We definitely have a fun time staying there, and so should you if you decide to stay there.
Most importantly, write via their email should you need to find out more information eg. about pick up / drop off to the airport.
We stayed in Eastern Town House in Melbourne for 6 nights and for those who like to drink capuccino and a bite of apple pie, there is a small eatery just opposite the reception room on the ground floor.
The city centre is 5 minutes tram ride which cost .80 daily & you can go everywhere within the same zone. We had fun time shopping along the Collins St, Swanston St & Elizabeth St.
We booked a 2 daily coach tour via this hotel inclusive of the pick up & drop off at the same hotel and the journey to The Great Ocean Road even though tiring, is worth it because of the beautiful scenery. We loved the Pufing Billy, Warrook Farm and of course the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island.
When you take a tram ride, ensure you stop at Port Melbourne and enjoy the fish & chips just opposite the last tram stop. A must go for anyone who wants to buy souvenirs, don't forget to visit the Queen Victoria Market!! But remember it closes every Monday & Wednesday and open all other days untill 2 pm only..so please take note!!
